The Water 03:25
(Intro) Thank God you found me when you did, I don’t know if I could have held on much longer. I was somewhere deep below the surface, Drowning inside the water. (verse 1) I was on a nowhere path when I met your eyes, But something set me straight, yeah an angel in disguise. I told you you couldn’t handle the bad man that I am. You said honey wait and see ‘cause i bet that i can. (Chorus) When I first met you i was drowning deep inside the water, and I warned you I’d only pull you under. Along the way you fell and i fell harder, and you pulled me out of the water. (verse 2) My the things your friends, they used to say about me, but the love that we shared, they were blind they couldn’t see it. If only they had known the man I was before you, they wouldn’t make those damned assumptions that they always do. (Chorus 2) When I first met you I was drowning deep inside the water, and I warned you i’d only pull you under. Along the way you fell and i fell harder, and you pulled me out of the water. (Verse 3) That water’s deep but love is stronger, and you pulled me out of the water. Those waves fought hard but baby you fought harder, and all you said was to hell with that water. (Chorus 3) When I first met you I was drowning deep inside the water, and I warned you i’d only pull you under. Along the way you fell and I fell harder, and you pulled me out of the water. Yeah you pulled me out of the water. Yeah you pulled me out of the water.

Whiskey man 04:35
This aint one of those Good timing drinking songs, every light in the house is on. and except for the whiskey, i'm alone. what day it is I don't know, the radio plays but i keep it low. and i hear your voice on the answering machine come on, God, id love to call you back but i cant because tonight theres nobody home. Maybe its an act of desperation or this alcohol toxication, that makes me do the things that i do. youre always wrong im always right, its always your fault never mine. i wish i could admit my faults but it hurts to bad. after all it's not my fault you fell in love, with a whiskey man. now dont think i cant see what ive done, ive pushed away the only thing ive ever truly loved. and they say its not that hard to put that bottle down, but why do that when it hurts less to drown. Maybe its an act of desperation or this alcohol toxication, that makes me do the things that i do. youre always wrong im always right, its always your fault never mine. i wish i could admit my faults but it hurts to bad. after all it's not my fault you fell in love, with a whiskey man. So i guess ive been living life wrong for awhile. and i miss the way it felt to make you smile. I'll put that bottle down if you'll stick around, thats what ill do. because i'll be damned if a bottle will pull me away from you. Because i am tired of desperation and this damned old toxication, im tired of the things that i do. Im always wrong youre always right, its never your fault always mine. fine ill admit my faults, God it hurts so bad. but after all i hope your still in love, with this man

Sandy 04:13
(verse 1) An old man sits alone in the corner of a bar, they watch him drink away his tired broken heart. See his wife of 40 years, she up and died the other day, the memories flow through him and the tears roll down his face. On the other side of the bar there sits a little girl named Sandy, she walks across the floor, says sir would you like to dance with me? He raises his tired head and he hands her his frail hands. For the first time in a long time the old man starts to dance. (Chorus 1) and he says m’am this wasn’t in my plans tonight, I thought i’d just go home and end my life. I’m not sure what you are if you’re an angel in disguise, but I think you may have just saved my life. You saved my life. (verse 2) Two weeks later the old man sits on the outskirts of a park. Slowly getting better with a tired broken heart. When a woman comes up screaming, there’s a fire in my house, my son is stuck inside, oh sir please please help. The old man jumped up to his feet and ran into the fire. He grabbed her little boy, said son you will not die here. (Chorus 2) He drug that boy through the raging flames, he got the boy out but the old man didn’t make it. The boy cries he gave his life for mine, God sent me an angel as an old man in disguise. And he saved my life. Ten years down the road that boy now has a family, a little girl, a little boy, and a pretty wife named Sandy.

(Verse 1) Hello old friend, tell me what it meant to be my friend. and what ever happened to the very end? Hello lover, pick that smile up off the ground, I haven’t seen that thing in a while since i let you down. Hello mother, thank you for the help to grow up stronger, you’ll never understand how much I love you. Hello father, why’d you leave me when i was younger, and why’d you steal everything from me and mother. (Chorus 1) Hello real world, guess i’m not a kid anymore. Guess it’s time I spread my wings and soar. Those I love will follow me, those who don’t i’ll never see that’s fine by me. Think it’s time to say high to the highway. Say hello to something new and do it my way. And if you call up my old number, leave a message at the tone. ‘Cause hello I’m gone. Hello I’m gone. Hello i’m gone. (Verse 2) Hello old friend, I hope that someday we will meet again. If we don’t then my best wishes is what I send. Hello lover, it’s time I pick you up off the ground, i’ll get this thing right this time around. Hello mother, look at us we did just fine without father, wasn’t always easy but we always had each other. Hello father, when you look at me I hope you see, we did just fine just mom and me. (Chorus 2) Hello big world, i’m not scared of you anymore. Just stand back and watch as I soar. Well I love this town but its getting smaller, and my life ain’t getting any longer. Time to go see just what I can be. So come on mother, come on lover, let’s go see what we can see. Hello I’m gone Hello I’m gone, Oh i’m so so gone and i’ll see you in awhile if I come back home. Hello I’m gone well i’m so so gone and i’ll see you in awhile if i come back home. Think it’s time to say high to the highway. And if you call up my old number, leave a message at the tone, ‘Cause hello i’m gone hello i’m gone. hello i’m gone.
